Jigsaws & Jazz
Jigsaws & Jazz is our annual puzzle competition and fundraiser. This fun and hugely popular event is held annually each February.
The competition features three categories: 1 - 2 Person Teams, 3 - 4 Person Teams, and Kids Teams (up to 4 people). Teams rush to complete the same puzzle - it's a race to the finish to see who can complete their puzzle first - with prizes for the top two finishers in all categories.
All are welcome: students, teachers, family, friends and our community at large. It’s a wonderful way to spend a chilly Colorado Saturday morning in February with friends!
There will also be a puzzle swap table if you have puzzles you want to trade.
All proceeds will go to the Centaurus Band Programs.
2026 Event Details
Join us for the eighth annual Jigsaws & Jazz Puzzle Competition!
Gather your group and get ready to go head-to-head against other team as you race the clock to finish your puzzle first.
This year we will have three competition categories:
- Teams: 3 – 4 people
- Singles and Pairs: 1 – 2 people
- Kids: Up to 4 people, 17 and under
Teams tackle a 500-piece puzzle, while Pairs and Kids take on a 300-piece puzzle. The 1st and 2nd place finishers in each category will win a prize. AND, there will be door prizes throughout the event.

Schedule:
9 a.m. - Pairs check-in
10 a.m. - Pairs competition begins
11 a.m. - Teams and Kids check-in
12 p.m. - Teams and Kids competition begins
