About CHS Band Boosters
CHS Band Boosters is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides critical financial and volunteer support to the Centaurus High School Band programs.
As the parent or guardian of a CHS band student, YOU are a CHS Band Booster! Welcome to our band community! The support of our parents is critical to the success of our program - we can't succeed without you. So we encourage you to connect with other parents and get involved. If you need help getting connected, reach out to a member of our Booster Board listed below.
However, best way to make connections is to attend events! We have monthly booster club meetings, family picnics, and many many opportunities to volunteer throughout the year. Check out the calendar to learn more. Each of these is a great way to find friends and enjoy the best the CHS band community has to offer!
What does the Booster Club do?
The booster club provides support to the band programs primarily through fundraising, but also by providing volunteers (generally parents, family members, and alumni) for events and performances.
The Centaurus Band Programs budget is between $162,000-$185,000 per year. The Centaurus Band Boosters strives to pay for 50% of the costs of running the band programs. We do this through fundraising for the General Fund.
