Jazz Band

The Centaurus Jazz Band is open to all 9 - 12 grade students. Jazz Band is a Zero Hour class, which means it meets every school day (except Wednesdays) before normal school hours throughout the school year. Since Jazz Band is a Zero Hour class, students can enroll in additional electives during the school day. The ensemble plays high-energy jazz music and is a ton of fun!

The band performs in multiple concerts throughout the year at Centaurus and in local jazz festivals. Participating students must play saxophone, trombone, trumpet, bass, guitar, piano or percussion, and must also be enrolled in Band 1, Band 2, or Band 3.
