2026 State Championships
The Centaurus Marching Warriors will be competing at the CBA State Championships at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Oct. 24! We are so proud of our band - they were not only first in the Northern Regional, but first in 4A across all regionals throughout the state. Way to go, Warriors!
The band will compete in the AQ 1 spot in the 4A Semi-Finals. They'll take the field at 3:15 p.m. for a chance to move on to finals later in the day.

Admission and Tickets
Ticket prices vary for this competition. Full day and half day ticket options are available, and there are discounts for students and seniors. Admission is free for children 9 and under. Tickets can be purchased in advance, available at GoFan. Use the app for easy ticket purchase and expedited entry!
Gates open at 7:00 a.m.
The AFA reports that cell service can be spotty at the stadium. So if you purchase your tickets at GoFan, you may want to download the tickets in advance to make sure you can access them at the gate.
Air Force Academy Entry Pre-Registration
Persons 18 years and older who do not have a DOD ID will be required to pre-register in order to clear security on the Air Force Academy. Save the text message that you will receive and show the message with your drivers license at the North Gate on Saturday to enter the grounds.
Event Name: High School State Marching Band Championships (Oct 21-25)
This is very important! Do this at least 24-hours in advance so you aren't stuck in traffic when the Warriors take the field!
Schedule
Performances begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue throughout the day. The 4A bands compete second this year with the first 4A performance starting at 12:30 p.m. The last 4A semi-final performance will occur at 3:30 p.m. with semi-final awards and finals placements to follow.
Centaurus will compete in semi-finals at 3:15 p.m. We will know if and when we will compete in finals when the 4A semi-final awards are announced at 4 p.m. The 5A bands will compete in finals first, starting at 5:15 p.m. The 4A finals will follow, with the first band competing at 7:30 p.m. and the final band competing at 9:15 p.m.
One of the most unique and fun experiences at State is the Full Band Retreat that occurs before awards are announced at 9:30. Even though it makes for a very long day, we highly recommend you stay to see this spectacle that only happens at State!

State is a long day, but it's a lot of fun! We're excited to hang out and watch our Warriors put all their hard work together and leave it on the field!
