Registered loyalty cards (a.k.a. "Sooper Cards") at King Soopers and reloadable grocery gift cards at Safeway are a major source of income for the CHS Band Pprogram, and we're thrilled to see so many families already using them.
Did you know what an average family can easily earn several hundred dollars per year for the band, without spending a dime out of pocket?! It doesn't get any easier!
King Soopers Community Rewards program is very easy to use. No more loading gift cards before you buy. Simply register your loyalty card once. Every time you swipe your loyalty card you will earn money for the band. Instructions for registering your card and the link to the Community Rewards registration page can be found here. If you (or your friends or family members) don't already have a Sooper Card, stop by your local King Soopers to get one. Note: out of state Kroger shoppers (City Market, Kroger, etc.) will need to register for a King Soopers loyalty card if they want purchases to benefit the band.
If you don't have already have a reloadable grocery card, we'd love to get one into your hands. Cards are preloaded with $5 and can be reloaded in an amount of your choosing at at any store register, gas attendant booth, or customer service counter. If you are participating already, why not purchase a second card?
- Load one up with gas money for your student driver
- Buy one for your spouse or CHS alumni student
- Send them to grandparents, aunts & uncles – anyone with access to Safeway or Albertson's stores
- Cards can be used at any location nationwide
Cards will be sold at all Band Booster/Parent meetings, but you can get started at anytime. Just contact Michelle Wagner, and one of us will deliver your card(s) to you! Thanks for supporting the Band Program by feeding your hungry Warriors and fueling up every time with your grocery card!
